Anyone else struggle to get their kiddos to drink milk from time to time? Or find it hard to satisfy their bottomless tummies after school? We find both to be a struggle from time to time which is why I lean on this milk recipe often.
It’s so easy make and so good. We’ll make this for breakfast or an after school snack. It’s filling. Satisfies something sweet without added sugars and is rich in protein. I love to make this for myself post workout.
It’s a happy drink for all!
Here’s a quick recipe for Monkey Milk to serve to your little monkeys!
Monkey Milk
Serving Size : 2 Cups
Time : 5 Minutes
Ingredients
2 bananas (we found bananas that are just about to turn are best for this recipe)
1 cup Orgain Organic Protein Vanilla Almond Milk
1/2 cup Fairlife skim milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinnamon
Instructions
Blend 2 large bananas, almond milk, milk and vanilla extract. Feel free to add ice if you want it extra cold. We usually prepare this by having bananas already cold in the refrigerator. Pour into drinking glass. Garnish with sprinkle cinnamon. We also garnish with honey silvered almonds for an added treat. This drink is rich in protein and nutrients to satisfy the hungry tummy!
