I’m currently sitting on my sofa under a thick cozy blanket with my little one snuggled in next to me, not feeling well, sound asleep. The sky is dreary once again and the rain is dancing off the windows. Candles are lit. And the diffuser is on working it’s magic cleansing the air in our home, whilst making it smell oh so lovely in here. I have our slow morning playlist playing in the background of what is an unsual quiet, slow Monday morning. I’m liking it. Although I wish for my little one to feel better, the slowness of her presence and feeling her chest rise and fall on me is leaving me feel ever so present. A gentle reminder, to embrace slow when it presents itself and to just be right where I am.
